MTD srl, a company belonging to the Campoli group, was founded to meet the needs of a multinational leader in the tire production. Thanks to the historic partnership and the trust placed in the group, the growing need for tire molds has involved the Campoli group which, strongly believing in the project, has created an innovative and flexible startup capable of evolving and adapting to all needs. Thus, in October 2015 in Pomezia - industrial hub of Rome - was founded MTD srl - Manufacturing Technology Development.
Growth
At the end of 2016, due the excellent results of the manufactured products, the machine fleet was improved with the aim of obtaining continuous production 24/7. The project involved the installation of a robotic arm operating on a rail, able to carry out pallet changes in the various machines even without human supervision. The project was lasted about a year and, at the end of the develop, production capacity of the entire workshop was doubled.
Facts
MTD srl is a 4.0 industry that uses an interconnected and remotely controlled Management System. It is based over 2,000 sqm, covered and air-conditioned by a centralized system that guarantees maintenance and control of the working temperature throughout the year. Actually, MTD has 8 CNC machining centers (5-axis, latest generation) and numerous other technologies that make up the machine fleet.

Our Team
The MTD Team is composed of 20 qualified operators divided into different production departments.
We have made one of our strengths the in-depth study of the different personalities and aptitudes of all the emploees to ensure that each resource is valued to obtain the maximum in the production process.
This has allowed us to optimize each phase of the production process by 50% compared to the first years of activity (working times, lower costs and product quality) and to reach a level of flexibility that allows to meet several needs of our customers.
We also invest a lot of time and resources in continuous research into solutions or new technologies to respond promptly to new market needs.
